On the Tube, describes a point where you can change from one line to another without using steps, escalators, or anything else; you simply change from one side of the platform to another. They're very useful for quick changes.
Also, you sometimes have two lines sharing the same tracks. Hence you wait on the platform for another train to come on the same tracks as the one you just got off.

- Highbury & Islington - cross platform interchange with the GN Electrics Line
- Finsbury Park - cross platform interchange with the Piccadilly Line

- [Uxbridge]? to [Rayner's Lane]? - same tracks as the Metropolitan Line
- Ealing Common - same tracks as the District Line
- Acton Town - cross platform interchange with the District Line
- Hammersmith - cross platform interchange with the District Line
- Baron's Court - cross platform interchange with the District Line
- Finsbury Park - cross platform interchange with the Victoria Line

- Euston (Bank branch) - cross platform interchange with the Victoria Line

Subsurface Lines
The Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines all share tracks, as appears on the tube map as multicoloured thick bands. Below are only shown platform interchanges with deep tube lines and National Rail.

- Acton Town - cross platform interchange with the Piccadilly Line
- Hammersmith - cross platform interchange with the Piccadilly Line
- Baron's Court - cross platform interchange with the Piccadilly Line
- Kensington Olympia - same tracks as Northbound National Rail
- Hammersmith And City Line
- Moorgate - Westbound H&C has a cross platform interchange with the Thameslink terminal platforms, where sometimes H&C trains share tracks, turning around Eastbound trains
- Mile End - cross platform interchange with the Central Line
