A high frequency tram route currently being planned to connect Camden and King's Cross with [Peckham]? and Brixton, via Bloomsbury, Holborn and Waterloo.
  
The route is scheduled for completion by 2011, having been given the go-ahead by Mayor Ken Livingstone. 92% of the respondents to the consultation on the project were in favour. The route is expected to carry 72 million passengers a year at a capital cost of around �300 million. Transport for London have a small information page on the project.
