Once the haunt of Del-Boy Trotter (though most of the filming for Only Fools and Horses was shot in Acton), Peckham used to be a very run down area. It's still quite shabby, to be fair, although it's now starting to be done up and there are some quite nice streets here and there, especially in the conservation areas. Expect property prices to rocket once the East London Line finally arrives.
