West India Quay serves the northern side of the afore-mentioned quay which has recently been developed with various restaurants, bars, a cinema and the new [[Museum in Docklands]]. However, for anything other than this northern side of the docks, there are two DLR stations extremely close - [[Poplar station]] is connected to West India Quay by an enclosed footbridge (as is [[Poplar High Street]]), and to the south [[Canary Wharf station]] serves everything on the south side of the quay.
