Upminster station is located in Upminster. It is served by the London Underground District Line and also by c2c and one train services. The station is in Zone 6. The station was opened in 1885 by the London Tilbury & Southend Railway. The electrified District Line service reached Upminster in 1932.

Upminster is the eastern terminus of the District Line and the next station along is Upminster Bridge. On the c2c route Upminster is between Barking and West Horndon or Ockendon. On the one route Upminster is the eastern terminus of a branch line from Romford and the next station along is Emerson Park. Upminster station is managed by c2c.
