== Line 2 ==
Blown up in the second world war, rebuilt (badly) from scratch. In the mornings, the entrance is often blocked by the lines of people using the ticket machines. There's often one of the ribbon barriers, but as nobody in the UK has a convention about which side of the pavement to walk on, it usually ends up with people going both directions on both sides of it.

There are three ticket hall windows, two on the main hall and one on the "inside" of the barriers, presumably for passengers from the [[Silverlink North London Line|North London Line]], which has plenty of unmanned stations. There's also the usual crop of ticket machines.

Recently the approach to the station was repaved. It's a bit better now, with nice blue lights. There's often a coffee shop and crepe (and burger) just outside the station entrance.

The old station is still over the road. It looks much nicer.
