London (and indeed British) beer gardens vary tremendously, from [[Anchor Bankside, SE1 9EF|The Anchor Bankside]]'s vast riverside patio to [[The Hole In The Wall, EC2V 7AL|The Hole In The Wall]]'s couple of seats in a shared courtyard. Some pubs don't have a real beer garden but do have a few seats outside on the pavement - we're not counting those as pubs with beer gardens. |

Not a garden you grow beer in, but a garden you drink beer in. Generally attached to pubs.

Grubstreet Recommendations
- The Windsor Castle in Notting Hill - an overall good pub, it has a nice little enclosed beer garden with its own bar, and patio heaters to take the chill off in the late evenings.
- Ye White Hart in Barnes - the beer garden has a lovely view over the river
- The Anchor Bankside, near London Bridge - the pub as a whole has gone seriously downhill, but the riverside patio is still lovely on a sunny day.
