Close to Chiswick Roundabout, the junction of the North Circular & A4/M4, and a good place to get to if you're hitching west (walk to the roundabout, A4/M4 turnoff far side - there's a couple of good hitching spots where it's easy for vehicles to pull in to pick you up).
This station is at the foot of the British Standards Institute building, and the station is frequented by BSI staff. The car parking facilities visible from the platforms are part of BSI.
Bizarrely, the original station was demolished by a tornado in December 1954.
