Many locals and estate agents would have preferred this station to have been called "North Chiswick". The name "South Acton" is synonymous with a notorious housing estate 1/4 mile to the north of this station.

Exits

Both platforms have exits to the street, and are connected by a footbridge.

The southern exit takes you to a part of W4 known as Bedford Park, and is safe late at night.

Interchanges

Chiswick Park Station is 5 minutes walk.

Points of Interest

Close to the western end of the station are points where the North London line forks the Brentford Loop line. Both lines have level crossings over Bollo Lane.
