Drinks
London Pride 2/pint. [Prices as of October 2002]
Food
The standard Goose menu (see Goose, SW16 1HJ for more details). I had the sausage and mash (4.75): the mash seemed to be from a packet mix, the sausages were a bit gristly and not that well cooked, and the onion gravy was over-salted and under-flavoured — but it wasn't awful, just not great, and it did the job. [Prices as of October 2002]
Service and Ambience
Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about.
Layout
A large room downstairs, with large windows and a couple of big leather sofas in the (reasonably effective) non-smoking area. There's another room upstairs (which is where the toilets are too), but I didn't examine it closely. Three or four benches outside on the pavement.
