Lovely people and reasonable prices. A good sign: street workmen eating there. Great alternative to nearby Starbucks and Caffe Nero -- JRM |

A good sandwich shop on Tottenham Court Road, just next to Goodge Street Station. They have an impressive range of beautifully-constructed paninis (toasted ciabattas), plus the usual cakes and whatnot.
The proprietors are Portuguese - you can tell by the presence of pasteis de nata, the delicious custard tarts particular to that nation.
Does a very nice toasted BLT ciabatta (without mayonnaise). -- Rjp
The paninis are great - i particularly like the chicken escalope, brie and bacon one. -- Tom A
