London Overground

The London Overground is a collection of railway lines that were transferred from the regular national privatised franchise system to Transport for London control in 2007. Since day one of the transfer the lines now accept Oyster Card, including the pay as you go stored value product. The network is to be expanded in 2010 by the addition of services over a now-closed section of the [London Underground]? with extensions over suburban rail lines in south London. In 2009 it was announced that there will be further expansion of the network in south London to create an orbital rail link through inner London.
