Route
Hammersmith Grove, by the H&C Line Hammersmith Station (this is where you find 266 buses parked). Round the [Hammersmith Gyratory]? and into the bus station to pick up passengers (It's generally better to catch it from the bus station, as it's sheltered with places to sit down). Out, round the gyratory again, and along [King Street]? one way section; right up Studland Street, Ravenscourt Park Station and Dalling Road. The return route is along Glenthorne Road.
The bus crosses over [Goldhawk Road]? into Askew Road; left onto The Vale (part of the A4020, Uxbridge Road), Acton High Street, passes through the centre of Acton, then turns right into [Horn Lane]?, past Acton Mainline Station. Then it crosses the [Western Avenue]? at [Gipsy Corner]? and turns left past North Acton Station into Victoria Road, taking you past Willesden Junction Station.
The route proceeds along Harlesden High Street, then Craven Park, Church Road, High Road; left fork into Walm Lane, past Willesden Green Station. Then on through Cricklewood to Brent Cross, where it terminates at the shopping centre.
