The upstairs is quite small and narrow, with tables that would seat maybe 2 or 3 people tucked in around the edges. There is a screen or two to break up the space and provide privacy. It is a little bit squashed-in; the tables are very close together.

Everything on the menu is available as takeaway, at the same price. The large sushi box is 7.80, and is plenty for one hungry person - you get six maki and tuna, salmon, squid, tamago, prawn, and mackerel nigiri. [Price as of May 2002]

Zipangu is an interesting place. Try to get a seat downstairs in one of the holes for a rather cosy location. Their sushi and sashimi is the best in Chinatown.

The upstairs is quite small and narrow, with tables that would seat maybe 2 or 3 people tucked in around the edges. There is a screen or two to break up the space and provide privacy.

The UCL Korean society review says that Zipangu is "famous for good service", and my one trip here seemed to bear this out; I even got brought a cup of green tea while I waited for my takeaway. (--Kake)
