summary='Youngs pub by the Thames in Richmond'

A large Young's pub and hotel next to the Thames. A favourite if irregular haunt for those with a bent for Schadenfreude, as spring tides regularly engulf the expensive cars of Richmondites parked outside. Traditional decor with lots of black wood. The usual selection of Young's ales, well kept, at about 2.50 a pint. Very crowded during summer, although the staff are normally prepared for such things.

Has a signposted entrance for high tides. Spacious, clean toilets. Poor disabled access; stairs everywhere.
