Named after the Westferry Road, which runs south from the station, past [[Westferry Circus]], down the western bank of the [[Isle of Dogs]]. The station straddles the join between the areas of [[Locale Canary Wharf\|Canary Wharf]], [[Locale Poplar\|Poplar]] and [[Locale Limehouse\|Limehouse]]. The journey time is 8 minutes to [[Bank Station]], and 7 minutes to [[Tower Gateway Station]].	Presumably named after nearby [[Westferry Circus]]. Straddles the join between the areas of [[Canary Wharf]], [[Poplar]] and [[Limehouse]]. 8 minutes to [[Bank Station]], very handy for getting into the city and on to the tube network.
