The Open Guide to London: the free London guide - Differences between Version 2 and Version 1 of Westferry Circus

Contents are identical

Westferry Circus is a double decker roundabout. The approach roads each have tunnels into the lower deck. In my opinion, the double decker approach serves no useful purpose - it's just architectural aesthetics. This aside, the lower deck has additional service roads for underground car parks.

Facing the roundabout is a parade of shops with offices above and behind. The range of shops is fairly typical of the area, in that it includes a Starbucks, a newsagent, a day nursery and a gym. I worked in two different offices above the parade --IvorW

Descending a flight of steps to the river leads to Canary Wharf Pier, where the river bus operates. This also gives access to a pleasant part of the Thames Path leading into Limehouse.
