This is a club in the tradition of working men's clubs but with a greater emphasis on political information and activity - but there's no gender bar here!

The building is on two floors with a bar downstairs, and a function room upstairs, (equipped as a studio theatre)which hosts regular events. Entry to the building is by entryphone.
There are two hand pumps - usually with one dispensing a frequently changing real ale: Taylor's Landlord, Bombardier, Deuchars IPA, Adnams, etc. Guinness, Labatt's and Stella are also on offer, and they have a range of spirits on optics, including Glenmorangie.

To join as a full member, you need to be a member of a trade union (though you can still participate as an associate member if you are not in a union).
