Reasonable pub near Paddington Station. There's a very nice little bookable room upstairs — tiny, only enough space for maybe ten people comfortable, but real, readable, odd books on the bookshelves. It really is like being in someone's tiny upstairs library.
The food is OK. The portions are not ungenerous. They managed to feed our resident vegan something she didn't seem too unhappy with.
