Note from Kake: I've included in this category places that might only have one vegan choice on the menu, and places where you might have to phone up in advance, but only if the vegan choice is interesting in comparison with what's on offer at similar places, and the place has some other merit. I don't think places like [[Penderel's Oak|Penderel's Oak]], for example, whose vegan selection is limited to chips, onion rings and side salad, deserve to be in this category, but I've added, for example, [[Porterhouse (Covent Garden)|Porterhouse (Covent Garden)]], because they do a decent Thai stirfry which can be made vegan with advance notice, and they have interesting beer.
