The National Film Theatre is a cinema on the South Bank, which shows a wide range of classic movies, new releases, cult films and more. There's also a reasonable cafe/bar there, and a good shop, full of filmy books and posters. It's run by the British Film Institute (http://www.bfi.org.uk/index.html), is open to all, and offers discounts to members and their guests.
