There is a separate vegetarian section on the menu, featuring fillings such as spinach and cheese; and you could most likely ask for meat/fish to be omitted from other choices. |

Fantastically large pancakes with an interesting range of toppings. A handy location very close to Holborn Station.
Main course pancakes cost around £7-8, wine from £12.50, and dessert pancakes around £5. [Prices as of May 2004]
There is another branch in Ealing on Ealing Broadway
Our Reviews
Bitterballen - beef and onion rissoles served with sour cream - to start were interesting. There was only one other starter choice, can't remember what it was. Bob's Mandarin duck pancake was very tasty and seemed to have a generous amount of duck. My seafood pancake had prawns, tuna, olives, anchovies and cheese and was very filling and quite tasty. I have my eye on the smoked salmon, dill and mushroom pancake for next time. The banana and cinnamon pancake we shared as a dessert had perfectly-ripe banana but could have done with lots more cinnamon. The filter coffee was Lavazza and very good. Service was efficient. --Kake, May 2004
I've been here a few times for both lunch and dinner, and have always found the place to be a bit sterile and dead during the day, but good in the evenings - the downstairs area being pretty good for big groups.. --billy
