The Modhubon is a small Indian restaurant with subdued but traditional decor, along with an accompaniment of Indian background music. The furniture is comfortable and clean and the atmosphere is cosy. There's an upstairs room in addition to the ground floor, but it's rarely open as the restaurant's not normally that full.

The menu has the normal range of dishes from the subcontinent, with a strong emphasis on the tandoori and balti section. Main courses are priced at 3.80 for vegetarian dishes to 12.50 for the King Prawn dishes. During the day, basic curry dishes are available from 3.95 and there's an all day tandoori buffet for about 7.
