To the west of Holland Park is Shepherd's Bush, and to the east is Notting Hill.

Holland Park itself is home to the historic ruins of Holland House.

To the North of the park Holland Park is a traditional Japanese stone garden where you can walk on paths between flowing water and try to ignore the tourists.

To the South of Holland Park are some playing fields, the Commonwealth Institute, and Kensington High Street

In the middle of the park is an open air theatre which sometimes has concerts including classical opera. If you don't want to pay for the opera you can always just take a picnic, some champagne, and listen to it outside the theatre.
