The street signs also appear in Chinese, which is very exciting to those of us who know a bit of Chinese writing. Stop us if we are being boring.
A genuine Chinatown, rather than a manufactured one. Worth a visit. Check out the electrical stores for interesting DVD machines. Also a great place to buy gifts, get a haircut, visit a great cheap cafe...

A property developer seems to have recently bought up the leases to a chunk of Chinatown and the are currently proposing a large redevelopment which seems to involve knocking things down and building a "Trocadero-style" shopping centre.
