Probably the most important thing to know about Leytonstone Station (apart from the fact that it is in Leytonstone) is that it is in a tunnel underneath the track itself. This means that there are two exits: one to Church Lane which leads to Leytonstone High Road the shops, library, church, and so on, and the other to Grove Green Road and the more residential "Upper Leytonstone". Each side has its own bus stops so choose carefully!
