summary='Pub on Lamb's Conduit Street'

Small-ish but good pub on Lamb's Conduit Street. Starts filling up around 6 or 7pm, quietens down by 10. Someone (Quidity?) said that the clientele doesn't seem very themed. Simon said this is because it's located in a bit of a vaccuum between the studenty area to the northwest, the officey area to the south, and what he calls the “junkie scum” area to the northeast towards King's Cross.

I think there was music. I can't really remember.

Make sure you don't confuse it with the Lamb Tavern, EC3V 1LR, an unrelated Young's pub.

Drinks

There was Waggledance. And other beer too.

Food

Pretty good food. The burgers are huge and good quality (though they do cost 7 or 8 quid). Also pies, fish and chips, that kind of thing, but done well. It's worth coming here for good pub food. Smoked salmon “light bite” at £4.95 was very generous with what must have been about 100g of salmon, plus nice bread and butter.

[Prices as of June 2003]
