From the outside, this pub looks like it should have very sticky carpets. On the inside, like many of the pubs in this area, it is surprisingly trendy (in a bohemian, untrendy way).

When I visited last (September 2004), the beers on tap were Tetleys, Youngs, Wadsworth 6X and Hoegaarden. Despite the decent beer selection, my favourite thing about this pub is the qwirkyness of the wall hangings. There are loads of showbiz head shots. There is also an ancient looking till that I gather breaks down quite regularly. The loos are to the left of the bar (downstairs) and my mate Vic tells me that there is some very amusing grafitti in the ladies loo but I cannot vouch for the validity of this statement.

Well worth a visit Jambell
