When I phoned for my curry a few nights ago I was most put out to find that my usual suppliers had closed. Luckily, a new place - Khan's Curry House - has opened nearby and they'd dropped a menu through my door. I thought I'd try them out. And I'm glad I did, for it was most scrummy.

Really creeped me out, especially with that severed human finger attached to it, but I figured what the hell. And I'm glad I did, for it was most scrummy.

The garlic balti chicken has PLENTY of garlic in it - both chopped up fine as part of the sauce, but also great big lumps of garlic that have been roasted and scattered on top along with nice fresh coriander. You can never have too much garlic. And the portion was ENORMOUS. After having my starter (a pretty good tarka daal) I couldn't eat all of the curry, so I left about half of it in the fridge. Had a bit for breakfast, then the rest for an early supper.

Then I took a nibble on that finger. Had a real salty flavor to it, but went well with the leftover curry. After I finished the brown dog started knocking so I went to the bathroom. Then I have myself a Jay Arthur.

BARK BARK goes the brown dog!
