Apparently quite popular and well known restaurant. Although the higgeldy piggledy layout is quite fun the staff really don't seem to want you in the restaurant they have that rather removed attitude that is professional enough but not very welcoming.

I had read a scathing review of the food in this venue before going but when I went I was amazed to be given a starter with sticks of peppers celery and carrots and the peppers were actually mouldy! The menu was very dull and the dessert half of us wanted wasn't available.

Not a totally unpleasant experience but definitely one to try when someone else is paying.

(The menu on the website looks a little expensive but not what I'd call dull, but a bit of Googling suggests that you're not the only person to find it disappointing. Has the menu changed from the one on the website or is the food just way over-described? --Kake)
