A station on the Docklands Light Railway.
A very strange place. Once you emerge from the station, you find yourself in... nowhere. There are some largish roads that pass nearby, but that's about it. Maybe they will build something, some day.
It's near to the Norton Healthcare HQ and the nearest station to the Royal Docks campus of Newham Community College. I think there are further developments planned around here but for now it's a bit lost! --Dave

Bus services
Four day buses and one night bus serve Gallions Reach, but the stops are actually located on Woolwich Manor Way, which means you need to cross the busy Royal Docks Road to get to them.
- If you are heading to the Beckton Triangle Retail Park or the Showcase Cinema then this you get a higher frequency of bus from here than from either Beckton Station or Cyprus Station. (Routes 262 & 366)
- 101 & 474 run to North Woolwich Station, and the 101 runs to London City Airport. However, you get the same frequency and routes from Cyprus Stop K.
- In the other direction, the 262 runs through Beckton to Plaistow and Stratford Station. However, you can catch it from Beckton Station at Stop C which is just across the (much less busy) road from the station, and therefore an easier change.
- Night bus N101 runs between Trafalgar Square and Wanstead via the Royal Docks. However it runs to both Beckton and Cyprus stations, and at Beckton you can also use the N50.
- In summary this is only a good interchange to get to the Beckton Retail Park - for all other destinations use Cyprus or Beckton.
