This is a gastro pub which is very close to Hampstead Heath.

Drinks

  • Two beers on hand pump: London Pride and Timmy Taylor's Landlord (2.40/pint Feb 2005)
  • A good range of bottled continental beers
  • Wines

Food

Excellent pizzas - proper Italian style. Also pasta and steak. Note: they stop serving lunch at 14:30 prompt.

Ambience

The pub is quite spacious, with a large dining area. There is also a lounge area with sofas.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful (despite being stressed serving a large party of us).

Layout

Single bar, serving the ground floor area.

Toilets downstairs, but there might be a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Also bookable function room downstairs with its own bar. The room extends into a marquee - though they may possibly take this down in the summer and turn it into a beer garden.
