Historical version 1 of Exhibition Road (view current version)

Street in South Kensington (SW7), home to the famous museums: the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Also home to Imperial College, the Mormon's centre in London, the [Ismaili Centre]? and the German [Goethe Institut]?.

Parking is difficult although it does exist on-street at the southern end.

The very southern end in South Kensington has some shops.

A pedestrian subway runs under much of the road, from Imperial College and the Science Museum, with exits to the Natural History Museum and the [Ismaili Centre]?, directly into the tube station.

There is a Post Office in the entrance to the Science Museum.

Exhibition Road leads directly onto the West Carriage Drive through Hyde Park at its northern end. This makes this a useful route from Paddington and Baker Street avoiding both Park Lane (including Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner and Scotch House), and [Earl's Court Road]?.
