Has supermarkets, restaurants, and a drab bowling alley on the top floor. Also there's supposed to be a secondhand bookshop called [http://www.tlon-books.demon.co.uk/ Tlön Books] there somewhere, but I didn't see it when I went there recently [December 2003]. |

A charming example of 1960s brutalist architecture, this shopping centre (next to Elephant and Castle Roundabout) was until recently bright pink. Feels grim and very run-down inside; its age is really showing. Earmarked for demolition as part of the plan to regenerate Elephant and Castle. Frequently mistaken for a traffic island.

A street market apparently happens outside, anyone know about this?
