The Crown serves a selection of Fullars beers (Pride, Winter Warmer/Summer Ale, etc.) It's also has guest ales. At the time of writing (2003-11-16) they've got the wonderful 1884 on the pumps. |

Level access, nice leather sofas, large wooden bar in the centre of the room. The whole pub is infact one room (with a little side non-smoking area next to the kitchen) that's about 20/40 ft. There is a nice outdoor bit at the front with no traffic and 3 or 4 benches. There's 802.11b coverage outside (though I doubt it's run by the pub.) There's a tiny TV located in the corner of the bar that they rarely turned on - infact the only time I can remember it being on was for the '03 Rugby World cup, which attracted about seven or eight people early in the morning to watch it. |

The Crown
Easy to get to and nice and quiet. Decent food and nice cold beer. Has recently turned into a gastro pub and often contains well-off trendies with babies, but apart from that it's really nice. Very cosy interior with leather sofas and plenty of space. No loud music. Perfect place to chat with a good freind before heading off to the Angel or down to Caledonian Road for some food, or to Kings Cross for a fight, a cheap rental and some smack.

Nearby Atrractions
Lots of interesting well decorated houses with their georgian windows uncoverd if you fancy a quick tour of Islington home decor. Lots of ikea but some really wild ostentation too. A highlight is the wood carver's house down towards Richmond ave... all these amazing carvings in the dusty window. Also interesting political graffiti on the reverse side of the stop signs.
Great little park on Richmond Crescent (just down towards Richmond Ave). Good bushes to hide in, nice benches and pleasant atmosphere. Good sunbathing in summer and always empty. Interestingly, Tony Blair's back garden used to run onto this park. There used to be a resident pervert but I think he's long gone. Maybe you could replace him.
