Cockfosters Station lies at the north end of the Piccadilly line. The 1950's station is on the A111 heading north out of London, about 5 minutes south (by car) of the M25 Junction 24.

The area has a leafy suburban feel, being most built in the 1950s. It lies on the border between Enfield and Barnet boroughs.

Facilities on the station:

  • Cafe
  • Shoe repair shop

Facilities close to the station include:

  • Barclays Bank
  • Miracles cafe (very good)
  • Chinese takeaway
  • Indian restaurant (does takeaways)
  • Off licence

Further parades of shops provide many more facilities.

The main entrance to Trent Park is a few minutes walk north of the station, providing rolling countryside and a small animal park as well as a Middlesex University campus.

Christchurch Cockfosters is a few minutes east of the station.

Also Cockfosters Football and Cricket grounds are nearby.
