An average-looking pub, run by Greene King. I was in on a Monday lunchtime, so it was pretty quiet; I don't know what it's normally like. Sky Sports. Live music regularly. The pub has a theatre adjoining, unsurprisingly known as the Brockley Jack Theatre.

On tap: Caffrey's, Guinness, Hofmeister, John Smith's Extra Smooth, Carlsburg, Kronenbourg 1664, Stella Artois, Foster's, Greene King, Ruddles County, Director's IPA, Old Speckled Hen. A pint of Carlsburg cost me £2.15 (January 2003.)

The food menu seems to be pretty similar to the Wetherspoons menu, but I didn't have anything.

The lavatories were very clean, and had no steps to get to them. Only minor niggle: the lock on the gents' cubicle is broken. Otherwise excellent.
