The Open Guide to London: the free London guide - Differences between Version 6 and Version 5 of Avocados Sandwich Shop, W6

Contents are identical

Just to the west of Ravenscourt Park, this is an excellent place for an affordable lunch or snack. Don't let the huge queues at lunchtimes daunt you; the longer the queue is the faster it seems to move.

Food

Sandwiches, mostly. There's a huge choice of fillings and you can choose from one of the specials or mix and match your own. The Paco's Omelette (with added mayonnaise and onion) on ciabatta is superb. There's also usually a good choice of bread and rolls. Prices range from about 1.50 - 2.00 for a whopping big sandwich. The most expensive ones on the menu are the smoked salmon at 2.50 and toasties at about 3.00. They also do soup, baked potatos and fried breakfasts, but I've not tried any of these.

Layout

There are a couple of tables at the back, and several more outside on the pavement in good weather. Or get your food to take away and eat it in Ravenscourt Park.
