The Open Guide to London: the free London guide - Differences between Version 4 and Version 1 of Ambala Sweet Centre

Version 4 Version 1

Ambala sells the best sweets I've had in Europe - laddoos, almond and pistachio burfis, habshi halwa, etc. I haven't found sweets this good anywhere else outside of the Indian subcontinent. They also sell packaged Bombay mix - that mixture of fried lentils, nuts, and little twirly things made from chickpea flour. It's delicious and unlike most versions actually contains a generous amount of almonds and cashew nuts along with the ubiquitous peanut. I never buy Bombay mix from anywhere else now. Prices are very reasonable and all in all this is a great place to stock up on Indian snacks or just to drop in for something sweet after lunch at one of the [[Drummond Street]] eateries.

You can now order these wonderful sweets online!
