| The University of London is the collective of many of the colleges in London, although they are very independent. The central university is located in Bloomsbury, in a building called Senate House. Services provided by the federal university include Senate House Library and the [[University of London Union]]. The term "University of London" is fairly useless (apart from it being the degree awarding body for the various colleges), but it does actually provide useful services for the students of the various colleges.
