One of three main-line stations in Croydon. Trains from West Croydon run north to [[Clapham Junction Station\|Clapham Junction]], [[Victoria Station\|London Victoria]], and [[London Bridge Station\|London Bridge]], and south to places like [[Locale Cheam\|Cheam]] and [[Locale Sutton\|Sutton]]. There are few or no fast trains from this station, so if you want to get to west Croydon from London, you may well find it quicker to get a fast train to [[East Croydon Station]] and then walk (10 mins). Turn left out of the station exit and walk left round the corner to get to [[West Croydon Bus Station]] and the West Croydon [[Trams\|Tramlink]] stop (2 mins). The station facilities include a newsagent, a minicab office (just outside the exit), and a branch of Gregg's (a baker's).
