Open Guide recommendations
- The Castle on Church Street; used to be known as "The Snug" before a refurbishment, which gave the establishment a more modern feel. Has DJs at the weekends, but quietens down mid week with tables usually available for a quite nice but limited range of bar food.
 - Hermit's Cave probably your best bet for a decent pint in this small and friendly local pub.
 - BRB Does nice, wood-fired pizzas but could be considered possibly too "modern" for some.
