Fairly Standard Wetherspoon's pub over 2 floors. The London Pride was drinkable at 1.49 [Nov 2004]. Food was edible and cheap. We did the 2 meals for 5.25 deal.
Live jazz on Sunday afternoons. The booths towards the back have shelves with real books in.
Was pretty busy on a sunday afternoon.
Supposedly a pub on the route into the centre of town for people to get pissed in. Therefore i suspect best avoided on Friday and saturday nights.
