An excellent Young's pub on the waterfront, right next to Vauxhall Bridge. The full selection of Young's ales are served, in perfect condition - including the nectaral Ramrod when we visited. The seated area downstairs is not large, but there is an upstairs non-smoking dining area too - this is only open during the day, however. Staff are friendly. A range of reasonably-priced pub food is available until 9pm (or thereabouts) - bangers & mash for £6.50 (Oct '04) was tasty and not overburdened with raw onion. The sausage was slightly overcooked in places. Others tried the Scotch beefburger and the fish and chips - all were pronounced tasty.
