There is talk of the East London Line being extended to Streatham Station and long range plans of extending the croydon tramlink up to the High Road as well.
The main part of Streatham is Streatham High Road. This is where most of the shops and pubs are located. It has been voted Britain's worst high street.( I feel this was relatively unfair - bob). There are most high street shops such as WHSmith's, Boots and Woolworths. There is an 8-screen Odeon cinema.
