Southgate Symphony Orchestra is an amateur musical group based in Southgate, North London. With the aim of providing opportunities for people to hear and make music, they have contributed to the cultural heritage of the London Borough of Enfield for over 40 years. The Orchestra welcomes all musicians of Grade 6 or above. Each season is tied in with school terms and culminates in a live concert at different venues around Enfield, often featuring concerti played by guest soloists.

Past concerts have included the music by the great composers - Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, and Bach to name but a few. The Orchestra also holds narrated "Young Persons'" concerts for the young at heart - people aged 5 to 95.
