Flick The pub is just below [[Holborn Viaduct]]. I discovered this pub by chance, and was enticed in by "Cask Marque" posters, and a pub name which suggested [[real ale]]. I was not disappointed. I found out that this pub will be taken over by the independent brewers Shepherd Neame in two weeks time ([[IvorW]] visited on 19th Feb 2004). This page (and the pub) needs a revisit after the takeover is complete. ==== Beers ==== 3 handpumps, only one active with K&B Sussex Bitter at �2.50/pint. The beer was in tip top condition though. ==== Food ==== Sausages and mash. But this will be changing with the new owners. ==== Layout ==== Downstairs is a long thin main room, with an annexe at the back with 3 additional alcove tables. A narrow staircase leads to the upstairs rooms.
