summary=''

Despite being quite off the beaten track (with apologies to locals living in Harringey and South Tottenham), the pub is quite worth the journey.

It's a good idea to check the last train times though, and make sure you have enough time to get to the station (as we didn't - IvorW September 2004).

Drinks

Beer range excellent. 8 hand pumps, 4 delivering excellent beers ranging from a 3.3% mild to 6.5% knockout juice, and very pallatable pints in between. ''Sorry, can't remember the names of the beers that were on offer; it was that sort of an evening %). --IvorW

Hand pumped draught cider available.

Excellent range of single malt whiskies.

Food

Apparently food is available, but I was too late to try it as they had stopped serving food when I arrived. --IvorW

Geek friendly

One of the licensees is on the London.pm list. He has set up wireless internet access for those who want/need it.

Layout

This is a large, cavernous pub, all on the level. Apparently there is some kind of stage or function room behind the pub, but this wasn't investigated.
