This pub is run by two Camra members, and has usually two or three frequently changing real ales. This pub is also a frequent meeting venue for Richmond & Hounslow Camra branch.
 One of the few pubs in London selling a real cider.

The pub very much retains the atmosphere of a high street locals pub (but not to say they wouldn't be welcoming to strangers). The furniture and decor are fairly shabby, but this reflects the focus of the management - they are much more interested in their cellar and providing something good to drink! Toilets ditto: not brilliant.

The pub has a pool table and a thriving darts team.

Apparently, thbe pub are also very cyclist friendly.
