- Brewery: Fuller's
- Nearby Tube stops: Cannon Street Station
Overlooking the river Thames, underneath the railway platforms of Cannon Street station, this pub is a good meeting point. The pub doesn't get overcrowded, and is a welcome respite from the City wine bars in the vicinity.
The pub has had major building work done in Summer 2005, mainly to fix the leaking water problem that this pub used to have. The building work doesn't seem to have adversely affected the character of the pub, thankfully.
There are 2 pool tables upstairs, which are usually busy.
Drinks
The pub offers Fuller's beers: London Pride, Discovery and ESB, with Fuller's seasonals.
Food
Standard Fullers' fayre - pie and chips style.
